For BUTTING, environmental protection means to avoid endangering humans and the environment, to continuously reduce resource and energy use and to minimize emissions and waste. This way, we contribute actively to safeguar- ding our natural basis of existence.

For our development process to be effective, environmental protection's equal footing with BUTTING's other corporate goals is a key principle of our manage- ment. We expect our employees, customers and suppliers to act responsibly and with the environment in mind.

By taking environmental aspects into consideration during the production and process development, we are improving the ecofriendliness of our production with lasting effect.

For us, legal requirements, official rules and the guidelines of the DIN EN ISO 14001 are the minimum standards, and we aim to surpass these wherever possible.
